The Kalderimi Country House, comprising the main two-story guesthouse, a stone bungalow and the Ampeli garden house, was built in 1794 and restoration was completed in 2014. The roofs of the subsidiary dwellings are constructed from chestnut wood from Athos. The fireplaces are energy based and the walls have been painted with ecological paints. The bathrooms have handmade tiles and oak benches. Signed by COCO-MAT; All sleep systems are eco-friendly, made from natural rubber, coconut, horsehair, cotton and wool with independent springs and goose down quilts White linens are made from 100% cotton signed by COCO-MAT.
Communal Living Area – Ground Floor
The ground floor of the main house features a large energy fireplace in the lounge giving it a rustic appeal. Greek breakfast is served on a beautiful antique carpenter’s bench and can be enjoyed in the dining room or outdoors in the central courtyard where there is a pergola and a lawn overlooking the Aegean. Refreshments can also be enjoyed in the back yard under the shade of the trees, overlooking the mountains and the sea.
