PELION TRADITIONAL GUESTHOUSE

Aiming to preserve and develop the notion of agricultural and experiential tourism in the southern part of Thessaly in central Greece, we decided to realise our dream of transforming a traditional house in the Mouresi village of Pelion  into a family-owned hotel. We therefore undertook the restoration and renovation of a two-storey Pelion traditional house built in 1794. In our effort to create a Pelion traditional guest house of the highest standards, we have used eco-friendly materials of the best quality and aesthetics interwoven with the region’s architecture by craftsmen respecting local traditions. Construction was completed in 2014. We finally succeeded in creating “a home from home” for alternative holidays in Pelion throughout the year.

Pelion is a destination that fits every mood, activity and season, a place where visitors can always find what they are looking for. Our guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as: swimming, skiing, kayaking, diving, fishing, winter skiing and canyoning. The region’s picturesque villages and the azure sea can be reached via cobblestone paths of unparalleled beauty using the hiking maps we provide. Beaches, such as Papa Nero and Damouhari are 5-10 minutes away by car, or 30 minutes on foot, while Agrioleukes Ski Centre in Hania is a 25 minute drive away. An eight space parking area for standard cars is available next to the hotel for guests’ convenience.
